We plan to refurbish 2005 and 2008 during off season. (luckily, we still have a massive trackball that we can use to demo)
I've also heard rumors that one or two of the very very early BeachBots (or pre-BeachBots) (robots, not team members) are or were in storage at a sponsor's facility. It's been a while since I heard those rumors, though... the robots are older than you (no, I'm not kidding--the robots in question were built in the late 1990s) and wouldn't have their control systems (FIRST policy at the time was to send the systems back every year).
