Looks like that's referring more towards the output of the gearbox, but I guess it's all the same kind of interface. I think it would be useful on the Versaplanetary side as well.

You could use McMaster parts 52735a21 and 5543A29 (totaling just under $8) to adapt the Versaplanetary to the DeWalt gearbox with no machining at all.
