Team 1108 - Panther Robotics - Paola, KANSAS
Robot Name- HYO (Japanese For Panther)
AWARDS- Lone Star CHAMPIONS
Lone Star #1 SEED
Lone Star TEAM SPIRIT
Lone Star ROOKIE ALL-STAR
Lone Star MOTOROLA QUALITY
Best rookie showing in the history of FIRST. Yay!
PROS- Reliable, great driver, stacked twice at LSR but only 2 stack, can stack up to 7, DOES NOT TIP( Watch LSR), Works well with other robots (Ask Team 34), reliable autonomous mode, wide pushing arms, strong drive-(ask Team 118-twice), easy to handle (esp. with turning caster) Four wheel drive with big wheels, lots of traction, great fans, great pit, great attitude
CONS- Stacking and arms can be useless at some points but driver recognize this time, not extremely fast or have extremely fast autonomous but made the top everytime, need for two new motors after win at LSR (watch 2nd match of finals when we are on top of 704, ouch), can't go under bar, have got lodged on top of another bot once but generally does happen, easy to move if hit high or if hit really low (roll back if front wheels are push off the ground. Don't get the whole wall

A pro for 34 is they have those cool light up rockets, I thought we had taken one but I couldn't find it when we got back, oh well, see y'all in Houston.
