For your reference while working on an improved algorithm, I wrote up a script that calculated the {max, min, median, mean} for the number of unique partners each team played with and against for each event this year. These are the numbers that the FTA/Scorekeeper look at after they generate a schedule. Since it's a large amount of data, I won't post it here, but you can access the files
on GitHub.
