Now, what did you say your application was again? We can't tell you if that's a good idea or not without knowing a little bit about what you're trying. By the way, your free speed would be about 95 ft/ second if my math is right and you're driving with that thing (RPM of motor at 5500, C=pi*4" diameter, and 1 revolution moves you 1*C). Depending on loaded speed, you'll stall pretty quickly, though. (Again, if you're driving. If you're trying to shoot something, you might need to go the other way and spin faster.)
