Past performance is not a very good indicationj of how well teams will do this year. Alot of "Rookie" teams seem to be doing well. What really matters is how well you've scouted the other teams your up against, robot reliability and technical skill, and experienced drivers. We have in Newton a couple of teams who have either won or runnered up in the REgional finals. Also, there are many teams that show a consistant performance. Just as in Drag Racing, consistantcy is the key to qualifying and winning. Just my 2 sense.
