No design was anything like it that year. It was the most successful Killough drive I've ever seen. It was a flop bot in years after the flop bot paradigm was written out of the rules. Its CAD shows exactly how complex it was to design and yet how simple it was to assemble. It was as aesthetically pleasing as it was effective. Its hype was generated by its seasonal stats rather than a release video. It was easily the Mona Lisa of robots that year.
