It looks like you can get a 624 tooth (3.12m) 15mm wide closed belt from SDP-SI for $61, whereas 3m of the same type of open belting is $66. I always thought open belting was cheaper, but I guess I was wrong.
However, they appear to only have a single one in stock, so if you want more than 1 you're out of luck.
