Typical draft execution method as per FF standards:
-A draft order will be randomly selected, dictating who picks when. The
pick order goes as per typical FRC alliance selection. (1st alliance down to 8th alliance, then snake back up again up to 1st alliance, then snake down to 8th). Since there are 23 open spots, if all 23 are followed, all 69 teams will be picked, with each draftee having 3 teams.
-Draft picks are
made in intervals, usually of 5 or so minutes. The draft time for each pick will be listed by the draft runner (
BrennanB) before the draft starts.
-Picks can be made
LIVE or
BEFORE
-To make picks before, you must PM the pick list to your draft runner (BrennanB). Pick lists are just like pick lists for alliance selection. The draft runner will slot in the highest team on your pick list that is still available (each team can only be picked once, just like an FRC competition)
-If you pick live, you need to
pick at your pick time for that pick, and before the pick time of the draftee after you
Hopefully this answers the general draft execution questions. Let me know if you have any other questions.
For visual learners, it might help to look at past FF (Fantasy FIRST) drafts. A sample draft can be found
here.
Edit: Apparently this post is funny. FF standards make me laugh too, I guess.
