I looked at it again and there is a break down of the shipping charges: Shipping (CA): $61.20
Shipping Taxes/Fees: 94.46
Shipping VAT: 63.15
Shipping Duties: 76.87
Total: $295.68 and other one Shipping (CA): $104.90
Shipping Taxes/Fees: 22.76
Shipping VAT: 63.15
Shipping Duties: 76.87
Total: $267.68
Shipping Taxes/Fees + Shipping VAT = $157.61
and
Shipping Taxes/Fees + Shipping VAT = $85.91
that's where draconian overkill charges are coming from
