As evident from my post history, I am the complete opposite of who you are looking for. It is my understanding that the biggest complaints from a team-perspective stem from increased travel expenses, especially in areas with low team density, which may require teams to take on an additional overnight trip to compete at a second event. I hear this is particularly problematic for Hawaiian and international (non-US/Canada) teams, many of whom have to fly and stay in a hotel for even their nearest event.

There are also concerns about having enough volunteers to staff a district, but the California District Proposal thread covers this topic in-depth.

I don't think this thread is here to start yet another discussion about the pros and cons of districts.
