Re: "Weekly Updates" Location
The best place for a weekly update section would be on your team's own media channels. Build it up on your own blog/Twitter/Facebook/etc, and you'll have something far more useful to show your local community too.

If you have a piece that would spur discussion here on Chief, post that when it happens. Spectrum has done this with the How I Work series in the past.
