At this point all mods should be given access to all forums, as mentioned above 99.99% of the moderating these days is getting rid of SPAM and not keeping people inline (like it used to be).
Also, I don't personally get email anymore for ANY forums because the volume of email got insane. I normally keep a tab with CD open most of the time and check every hour or so. It helps that by boss is cool with that
