We've got some news on the happenings on this years IRI.
The entry fee this year will be between $300-$350. Included in this fee is the 2 day event and a catered dinner, aka hog roast, similar to last year. The event will be open to 40 teams this year. Some teams have expressed interest in bringing 2 robots to compete in this event. In order to get a wider variety of teams, there will be a lottery system for teams that would like to have 2 bots. If we have under 40 teams, that will not take into effect. Registration is set to open on May 12 at 6:00 pm on a website soon to be determined.
On a final note, we are going to change the finals a little bit. They are going to be "best 2 of 3."
