With Long Island already at last year's capacity and the new NYC venue being smaller, there are still 23 teams from downstate (NYC, LI, and immediate environs) that competed last year that have not registered for an event this year. A few of these teams could just be dropping out of FRC for unrelated reasons, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of these teams are on the NYC waitlist right now and will end up at HVR for their only event.
