Logitech cameras have good support for Linux both for the QuickCams with qc-usb; and for http://www.ideasonboard.org/uvc/faq/#faq1 and https://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Gspca_devices.
Specifically for the Raspberry Pi:
http://elinux.org/RPi_USB_Webcams
So I would try that.
