I am in awe of every FIRST Mentor I have ever met, but this guy is awesome for overcoming barriers that the rest of us have never imagined having.

The 35 members of this team are from 15 different countries and speak 19 different languages. They are all here legally. They are at the lowest poverty level. All are highly intelligent and extremely respectful. The biggest quality about them is their desire to learn. They love school with a passion that most teachers can only dream of. “

Team 3844 would like to graciously request your teams help in raising enough money to cover their travel to The Battle for the Bluegrass at Lynn Camp on October 29th. They will be lodging with us at the High School Lock in on Friday and Saturday nights so we just have to worry about travel and meals.
The cost for the bus is $2,172. Plus another $200 a day for food. Basically, we are looking at approximately $2,600.
