THE GAME IS AFOOT
|
From the dictionary:
afoot |əˈfo͝ot|
adverb& adjective
1 in preparation or progress; happening or beginning to happen: [ as predic. adj. ] : plans are afoot for a festival.
2 on foot: [ as adv. ] : they were forced to go afoot.
I think Definition 1 is true, but not what's intended by the ringtone, as we already knew that. From the thesaurus:
afoot
adjective & adverb
evil plans are afoot: going on, happening, around, about, abroad, stirring, circulating, in circulation, at large, in the air/wind; brewing, looming, in the offing, on the horizon.
The ones that seem relevant to me are "stirring", "circulating", "in the air", and maybe "on the horizon". Flying game with steam?
I then used
Wordsmith's Internet Anagram Server to do some rearranging.
The results are way too long to post here, but that link will take you to the first 1000(

).
Here are all 107,143 of them. No, that is not a typo.

Note that it will not load quickly!
