At MRI, they did 4 team alliances and none of the alliance captains seemed to realize that they needed to communicate to the folks managing field which 3 of the 4 teams would be playing and at which drivers station before each match.

My vote is for 3 plus backups, but if the event organizers want 4 I'll be happy to set it up that way.

I just assumed it was 4 alliances of 4 robots just like most regular off-season events. That's what it should be in my opinion.
