Re: What types of metal do you use for your robot in general?

3928 also uses 6061 bent sheet metal. We use 1/8" metal which is bent and cut by one of our sponsors. You can definitely bend it if you have the appropriate tools to get a larger bend radius (we use 7mm). It is extremely strong, even though we lighten it pretty heavily.

Our 2016 shooter frame is a good example of what you can do with it.
