Unlike the Forney Industries glasses which have ANSI Z87.1 clearly marked on the lenses (as required by ANSI), the amazon glasses have no such markings on the lens, the page makes no mention of ANSI Z87.1, and the reviews mention how cheaply made they are. Based on that, I believe they are neither safe nor legal.
