Before I start, ThunderMcBoomStix is one of the most unique and strangely hilarious names I've ever heard of for a robot.
I'm not sure where this name came from, but we always vote for robots names, and I know it's been on the ballot before.

Bumpers: What is the bumper fabric on Speedy, and how is that material holding up(looks unconventional from what I am used to seeing)? What was the reason behind trying it out(supposed to lower CoF, more durable, etc)?
That is just a textured vinyl cover for our bumpers from last year. They seem to be working well. I don't know any CoF numbers though.

Bumpers: Is that ballistic nylon on ThunderMcBoomStix?
That's black sail cloth.

Drivetrains: I saw the car drive on Speedy... but what is powering ThunderMcBoomStix? Are there some omni wheels on it? The turning seems wonderful.
It's just a six wheel drop center drive with all colsons and 3CIM 2 speed transmissions.

CAD: Please tell me there are CAD models that I can take apart to learn from these robots.
Not yet. The CAD is not 100% complete for ThunderMcBoomStix, partially because it was designed by a very ambitious freshman and sophomore in a limited amount of time. If you want to see these robots in action you can go to https://youtu.be/eFwYR_yfzdo to watch the live stream!
