Whenever this happens in Chrome I suggest doing a browser reset. Going to the chrome settings and going all the way to the bottom, clicking show advanced settings, and scrolling further. Click on reset settings.

This won't delete anything, and will disable your extensions, which is probably the cause of the issue. It usually ends up being Adblock Plus if that's installed.
