An idea brought up by one of our mentors was to track the balls to the best of your ability, then double check the alliance's score with the blue alliance afterward. Split the different between the robots who had any balls tracked for the high goal (or by a set margin from you). Results in non-integer amounts of balls scored, but you could either round or just include those.
