Gear Defense

Anyone else noticed the lack of rules against knocking a gear off a lift? Actually, there isn't a rule against putting a bar over the top of a lift to prevent a pilot from pulling it up either. Is it grappling if it's an opposing pilot that's picking your robot up with a lift?

I'm not saying these are practical gear defense strategies, but I sure wouldn't leave a gear hanging on a lift waiting for a pickup without a robot around. Also ripe fodder for Q&A's, but lacking a team probably means I can't Q&A anymore.
