If we're talking the physical connection between the CIMcoder output and the Talon SRX, you're looking at either very carefully slicing up an SRX data cable to connect to the pins...or using a breakout board. The official CTRE encoder breakout board is going to provide a much easier target for a soldering iron to hit, though there's also MACH Engineering's universal breakout board that provides 0.1" pitch pins. If you can crimp connectors on the wires, that may be beneficial.
