Sorry if this starts to bore you...

It has been an amazing year for me. There are just too many things to name off that I'm proud of, it's hard to pick just one...

Firstly, I have to say that I'm proud of myself for accomplishing so much with this team. I was afraid of taking on my position as leader in the beginning. It was a big job and I thought I was too small to take it on. I was able to survive so many hardships, but not without the support of my team. They are an awesome group of girls and I love them dearly.

My team was able to make it through Sacramento's first regional. It was an awesome experience and a great thing to see here. I am happy to see that, as the "home team", we were able to win the Regional Champion title. I was in awe to see that happen.

In Sacramento, we were also able to win the Motorola Quality award. I love this robot and what we were able to do with it is a major accomplishment in comparison to what we did last year.

Team Spirit... enough said

I remember at the beginning of the year making it a goal to have the team qualify for nationals. We're an even numbered team and I'm graduating on an odd year. I wanted my last year on the team to end with a bang and winning the Sacramento Regional got us there.

In Houston, we were sitting in 69th place in the Archimedes division before our very last match. As driver, I didn't want us ending like that, especially since I'm a senior. I drove that robot like I stole it and managed to gain 210 qualification points. That boosted us 15 spots in rank to 54th. Not the best, but how we got there was great!

Okay, so I'll stop rambling now. But, I have to say that the Fembots mean too much to me. They are very supportive and they never give up. I am sad to be leaving them next year. But I know they'll make me proud next year.
