Amy Tan is good, and Tolkien...call me old fashioned, but Thomas Hardy can write...wow. And I adore Shakespeare--also a genius. Joseph Conrad (author of Heart of Darkness) is an amazing author as well. Man, I think I'm a nerd or something...look at my list
Oh yeah, Harry Potter totally rocks my world!! I can't wait for the fifth book to come out this summer!! Yay!!!!
