The new Metallica is pretty good IMHO. "I Disappear" was a great non-album song.

CANT STAND THIS BAND! Make it go away. Linkin Park with a female singer. Would be better if it was just her.
Finger 11 -- E-Card
Not bad from what i have heard.
Seether
Haven't listened to em enough to pass judgement.
Linkin Park
Chester is cool.. the music is interesting...but i'm by no means a fan.
Disturbed
Love this band. Its what i listen to before every FIRST competition and most matches to get pumped up. the first album is ALOT better then the second however. Its just so angsty and the whole package of each song (music and lyrics) just gets me ready to go. Out of all the 'angsty' 'my mommy and daddy didn't love me enough' style music, (old) korn and disturbed are the only 2 bands i like.
Taproot
Not a big fan.
TRAPT
Not a big fan.
Metallica
Never really have cared for metallica...though there was a time when i was first getting into harder music and i was buying cd's and i had to choose between metallica black album and nine inch nails downward spiral...i went with NIN and have never regreted it. 'Master of Puppets' is like the only metallica song i can stand, and i only like the cover version that one of my friends bands does...
Evanescence is a pretty good starting band. Not the best, but hey. [Needs to kill the high-pitched whining though]

Seether: Never listened to them, so I can't judge

Finger 11: Really good, and their sophomore album is great also.

LP: The "Faint" video wasn't as cool as I thought it'd be, but the band still kicks major butt.

Disturbed: THAT IS THE DEVIL!!!!!!!!

Taproot: Steve's vocals are great in a few songs off of their new cd

TRAPT: They're like TRUST Co., 1 song being hard-core like, and the rest be like Elvis.

Metallica: One of my most favorite bands.
