I agree, the folks in Tyngsboro did a great job with this event. It is more work than you could ever guess to put one of these competitions together. The event moved along well. If only these folks could also be in charge of food sales at Verizon!!!
Team CHAOS 131 would like to thank a few teams also. First, Team 157, the Aztechs. In their first round, they went out and got the highest score of the day. They did it singlehandedly, we were their alliance and were unable to field a robot. Their score really helped us too. Nice show.
The WPI team, who took over for us in the elimination rounds. Always a strong team and great robot. We all look forward to Battlecry in two weeks.(Let's see if their BattleCry victory streak continues).
Team 121, Two post season events, winners at one, finalists at the other.
And finally, we apologize to any team that dropped in the rankings due to our malfunctions during the day. When we worked, all was great, but we kept shearing off 3/8" pieces of metal from our drive system and that is never good.
As all of our robots continue to get heavy use, we will all face more problems with parts suffering from stress. The force of our robots smashing together is wearing out the robots at a rapid rate....now to go order 3 more drill transmissions for BattleCry!!!
