Uh Mike, there is a huge difference between driving a robot down some stairs and having a robot drrop in the bottom of a half-pipe. On staairs the robot would tumble and wouldn't hit as hard as it would in a pipe. Trust me I know what it feels like to fall down stairs and to "bottom out" in a half pipe. The pipe was much worse.
