OK, i have done some minor searching for possibilities of what can be done for the Z. Luckily, i found an I/O Java package at www.serialio.com. They also sell a RS-232 cable made just for the Z. So, with that, a dashboard could be developed by nearly anyone, on any platform, who buys that Java package.
