Our student team leaders and faculty advisors presented the "Cybersonics story" and fielded many great questions from the audience. Much of this is in our Chairman's Award submission which you can download
here and on the FIRST Rural Support
site.
There was some discussion about fund raising and sponsorship and how, as a rural team, we meet these challenges. We also talked about the fantastic support we receive from our school district and the staff of Palisades High School - one of the secrets to our success.
I'm sure Brandon and the other team leaders would be happy to answer any questions you have (right guys?).
I would like to take this opportunity to thank BAE for hosting the event, and the great people from FIRST and teams 151 and 166 who came out and shared the evening with us. I particularly enjoyed talking with other mentors and BAE's student interns. I'm looking forward to seeing you again in 2004!
