I love FIRST for many, many reasons.
You get to meet people from across the country. Many religions, races, and personalities all under one roof. Everytime I goto a robotics event, I try to meet atleast someone new. It is also a way to get me to express my technical side. I love working 12-14 hrs. straight. It gives me a feeling that I've done something for tomorrow's world. FIRST is also a brige-stone (if you will) to learn the importance of friendship, communication, technology, and just being what you can be. There's usually no peer pressure (I think anyways). It's like everyone is glad to see everyone else. I've also made many friends through FIRST. Without FIRST, I would be still pondering what todo tomorrow (after school work is done
).
