Actually, this worked out well for me. Although, when I first joined robotics, it wasn't because of a boyfriend, it was because of a group of friends. I went because I had nothing better to do one afternoon and they told me to go to the meeting with them (I had absolutely no interest in engineering). And then, I loved it, stayed with it, and now I'm an engineering major. I'm glad I joined just because of my friends...otherwise I wouldn't be here.
It's just kinda scary to think that was my junior year.
