By disk swap space you mean virtual memory right? I did try that just now and it had no apparent effect. I also tried the different graphics acceleration settings in the System Control Panel and that didn't fix it either.

I will buy more RAM because it's not all that much for my computer these days but only if it will fix the problem because I don't need it otherwise. How certain are you that having 512+ will fix it?
