If I had to guess?

I'd say that it moves in between two goals, latches onto them, and pulls them inward toward the robot.

Simultaneously, the goals are lifted up off the ground onto those large arms. The arm, as you can see, is attached to a drill motor, and can rotate. This can have some advantages.

They've got a four-motor drive train, too. It uses the Chiaphua's geared down to the drill motor's 'high' setting, and all four motors feature a pneumatically driven, 'on-the-fly' transmission.
