Your second link has been posted so many times I want to scream! It is funny though. The first I haven't seen. As for Segway being too complicated...you should read "Code Name Ginger" and then go try to build one yourself. This guy may have a basic working model, but I bet if Segway put it to some basic tests to show the guy how complex the programming is in the Segway - he would never ride his again. The complexity of Segway is necessary for the way it works. DEKA isn't known for making things overly complicated. They put the technology and complexity that's needed and stop there.
