I was thinking of maybe combining all three groups initially, but designing by large committee is never a good idea in my book. Is there an easy way teams have found to do this?
My team has a "systems team" that is responsible for integration of all the subsystems. Their job is to draw the whole robot in detail (hopefully this time in Inventor), and allow certain space, weight, and money for each subsystem. They also get the subsystems talking with each other to make sure that there will be no conflicts in design or assembly placement.
