Food For Thought

This is a quote I saw on the wall in my Biology Class.

"The longer I live the more i realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company, a church, or a home. The remarkable thing is you have a choice everyday regarding the attitude you will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable...

...The only thing we can do is play on the one string we will always have control over and that is our attitude toward life. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how i react to it. If you wake up thinking it will be the worst day of your life, it will be. If you wake up looking forward to the things you will learn from your hardships, you will live a life well spent,"

I think one of my favorite things about this quote is that it was written by one of our school janitors. I think having a job like that you would NEED to have a good attitude towards life. What do you think?
