Overall, I love the new system. The toolbar at the top with the PM information and the new posts link is REALLY helpful. I’m even starting to like the purple

My only problem with the new system is the reputation points. Within 24 hours many people, including a very well respected person that should know better, were abusing the system. I understand the purpose behind the system, but right now it is turning out to be mostly a popularity contest. Perhaps we should just get rid of it? Or at least impose some more control over it, maybe only letting moderators give reputation points or implementing some sort of appeal system.
