Didn't see one on mcmaster, didn't see one at radioshack,
I found some voltage gauges for automobiles that will do 7-18V, which is perfect, but they are a tad bit price (i could buy a cheap analog multimeter for 15.00 and just install that . . but I don't want to.)
Any ideas?

First, i would check the chepo surplus type places. try:

if you can't find somehting there then try places like:

http://www.mouser.com
http://www.newark.com
http://www.grainger.com
there is a good possibility that automotive stores may have what you are looking for.
