Style suggestions
Ok. It's early in the day and I don't know if this is the design for the site is done. Anyways, I thought I'd throw in my $0.02 
I like how simple this layout is. Square. I like square
What I don't like is the placement of the "What's going on" table (or whatever the name is) at the top of the forum list. It's really big. IMO, it looked better at the bottom.
Anyways, that's my only gripe

I'm a professional web developer. I'm good with PHP, Perl, Java/JSP, some RoR, XML, Javascript (AJAX as well), (x)HTML, CSS, etc.. Validated code is good; fully cross-browser code is better (you comply to your users and the software they use, not the other way around. Sorry!)
