I have a really nice calendar hack that I installed on my xmb forum. www.team696.org/forum/calendar.php

With a very minimal amount of tweaking, I suppose you could eliminate the whole forum part of it and use it just as a calendar. But I see that you already have a phpBB so you would have to know how to set up another database.

You should also check and see if there are any calendar hacks for your phpBB.
