I should correct myself. I did get numerous offers from other schools, but I turned them down, in favor of my first-choice school, the University of Michigan, which doesn't give anything to National Merit finalists. I probably could have received numerous scholarships had I gone elsewhere, but it was my choice to stick with my #1 school.
