Don't get your hopes up about it. Jackson hated that part of the book, so he cut it out completely. I agree with his choice - It's such anticlimactic ending. I mean, here they are, they destroy the ring and save the world, and you're telling me they come back to more <insert explicative here>? Once you reach the climax, you can't go back to another adventure and expect the audience to enjoy it.

Non-idealistically now, people complained about the length of the ending as is.... if this part was included, it would increase the length of the ending by atleast another half hour. You'd have people walking out or turning it off if that happened.
