Custom titles... green dots... number of posts. Come on people!
I think people somewhat weigh of the reputation dots and the number of posts, but most importantly, it's the strength and justification of points, a history of good contributions that earn you respect around here. There's a lot of people who have been here a lot longer than me and know a whole lot more...

respect and reputation isn't dictated by green dots, number of posts, or custom titles.
I have faith that those who know what's going on are well respected, with or without titles, dots or 1,000 posts. While I know many have, you don't have to "work hard" to get 250 posts. Couldn't someone sit replying to
This or That,
Word Association, or or other (albeit fun

) NONSENSE threads for a week and get their number of posts high?
I think the current system of reputation is better at gauging true quality of contribution, since it's voting by your peers.
