i am not sure exactly to what you are refering to but here are my two best guesses



1) you need to fascen the shifter in one direction or another, FIRST provided rubber bands for this this year but i would sugest hose clamps both should do just fine

2) if you have not put in the left handed thread screw to the alumium block to the tranny then it will unscrew and fall off. the left handed screws are in the drive train bag each in seprate sealed plastic bags. once you put the alum hex block on then put the screws in backwards.
