Yea... amazingly, we weren't really pressed for time this year (this first time in forever, I guess!!) But last year we had students here from 6:30 a.m. one morning, working, until we shipped at 5 p.m. the next night! I was only allowed to stay until 2:30 the second morning, but I came in the next day at 6 a.m. (after not having slept at all the previous night, in fear the robot wouldn't get done!) This year we had an **planned** all-nighter - the entire time, the drive train of TOBOR V sat in pieces on the ground and we played basketball the entire time! I think the latest we were here this year was 12:30 - and that was just another student and myself. Yea... being here for those 36 hours was a long time...
Though 36 hours is not the longest our team has been awake - at Nationals, sleep is rare!
