while we're bending the rules of mathematics, how about this one?
1 = 1
-1 = -1
-1/1 = -1/1
-1/1 = -1/1(-1/-1)
-1/1 = 1/-1
(-1/1)^.5 = (1/-1)^.5
((-1)^.5) / (1^.5) = (1^.5) / ((-1)^.5)
cross multiply, and you get
((-1)^.5) * ((-1)^.5) = (1^.5) * (1^.5)
-1 = 1
